ABSTRACT

 

The Rosy Pastor or Rosy Sterling is a passerine bird of the family Sturnidae. It is a strong migrant, and in winter it visits in India and tropical Asia. In India, in winter it often appears to outnumber in association with Mynas. Rosy Pastor is highly gregarious, forming large winter flocks. In Ahmedabad, it seems to be in the small parties or large flocks. To make a study, eight sites in Ahmedabad city were selected
