HYDROBIOLOGICAL STUDY OF MUNJSAGAR POND, DHAR (M.P.) INDIA WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO RECHARGING OF GROUND WATER LEVEL

ABSTRACT

 

The present study deals with the hydrobiological studies on Munjsagar pond, Dhar (India) with special reference to physico chemical characteristics for a period of three years (2002-2004) seasonally, seventeen parameters were analyzed, significant variation in these parameters were observed throughout the study period. This pond plays an important role in maintaining the recharging of ground water level, irrigation and aquaculture activities of Dhar town.
